Higher Rain Chances This Weekend

A cold front will slowly approach the area from the north this weekend. As it encounters a summertime warm and very humid air mass, there will be a better chance for afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Highs will be in the low 90s through Sunday. There is inconsistency in the computer models as to how far south the front will go early next week, which is not surprising, considering fronts usually have a hard time clearing the area this time of year. If the front hangs up near the FL/GA border Monday, then some chance of rain will continue. If the front makes it closer to central Florida by later Monday, then rain chances will be nil and we will enjoy lower humidity for a couple days. Have a good weekend!

Some Rain for the Weekend

Today will be much of the same for the area. We will have a mix of sun and clouds and isolated afternoon showers and storms. Friday’s high will be near 90.
Saturday a cold front will approach the area from the north, there will be a better chance for afternoon showers and storms. High on Saturday will be in the lower 90’s inland and mid 80’s at the beaches. On Sunday, there will be more clouds than sun with scattered showers and storms (mainly in the afternoon.). High temperatures on Sunday will be near 90. A quick look at the forecast for the 4th of July we will have a mix of sun and clouds, with afternoon temperatures in the lower 90’s. Have a good weekend!!

Cooldown Early Next Week?

Friday will be another humid day with light breezes out of the southeast. Some scattered downpours could develop near the coast as early as noon, with inland areas seeing a chance later in the day. Otherwise, expect another typical late June day with a mix of sun and clouds and highs near 90. Over the weekend, a cold front will slowly approach from the north. This will increase our chance for afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Outside of that, it will be hot and humid with highs in the low 90s. Computer models show the cold front possibly making it as far south as Central Florida early next week, which would result in an unusually pleasant drop in temperatures/humidity for Monday and Tuesday.

Warm Weather Continues

The weather will not change much over the next 48 hours. For today and Friday there will be a mix of sun and clouds with a stray afternoon shower possible, with highs near 90. As we go into the weekend a cold front will be dropping south. The front will have a hard time pushing through, but should push through on Sunday afternoon. There will be a better chance for showers and storms for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the lower 90’s. Have a good Thursday!

Seasonably Warm and Humid

Ocean breezes continue to keep temperatures from getting out of control. Again on Thursday, many spots along and east of Interstate 95 will top out below 90. It looks like moisture above the surface will be lacking again, so expect just a slight chance of a shower. A cold front will slowly approach the area from the north this weekend. Temperatures will turn a little hotter Friday and Saturday, and chances for scattered afternoon thunderstorms will increase. Stay cool!

A Warm Wednesday

There will be a mix of sun and clouds today. Warm and humid weather will be in the forecast today, with a onshore wind (wind coming out of the east). On Thursday, the weather stays the same with warm and humid conditions. By Friday and the weekend there will be better chances of scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. Temperatures will warm back into the lower 90’s by the weekend. Have a good day!

Ocean Breezes Continue

Temperatures will continue to be held down some the next couple days as breezes persist out of the east-southeast. Highs will mostly be below 90 east of Interstate 95 through Thursday. There is a slight chance of a shower in the area Wednesday. Chances for a downpour will increase a little more Thursday as moisture levels increase due to the persistent onshore flow. The flow will turn more to the south and southwest Friday and Saturday and a cold front will approach from the north. This combination will produce hotter temperatures and a good chance of afternoon/evening thunderstorms heading into the weekend.

Cooler Ocean Breezes

Breezes out of the east and southeast will keep temperatures cooler the next couple days, but the humidity will remain high. Most areas east of Interstate 95 will top out below 90 Tuesday and Wednesday. Areas further inland could reach into the low 90s. Chances for scattered downpours will be very low Tuesday, then a slight chance Wednesday, with a better chance at the end of the week.

A Slight Cool Down Coming

Another hot day before we have a little cool down. Temperatures will be in the mid-90’s today, then back closer to average (90) by Tuesday. There will be a mix of sun and clouds over the next few days with a slight chance for an afternoon thunderstorm. The best chance for afternoon showers and storms will be near the end of the week. In June there were two named storms. We will end the month of June quite in the tropics. Have a good week!

A Hot Weekend Ahead

Temperatures will be hotter over the weekend, with highs in the mid 90s under plenty of sun. Some areas, mainly west of Interstate 95, will see highs in the upper 90s. Some breeze will develop off the ocean by Monday, which will bring the highs back down into the low 90s. Rain chances look nil for Saturday, increasing to a slight chance of an afternoon downpour by Monday. Enjoy your weekend!

Heat is On!

We will have a hot weekend coming up across the area. There will be sunny skies on Saturday with highs near 96. On Sunday there will be some clouds in the afternoon, but remaining hot with highs in the mid 90’s. The heat will continue for the first part of next week. I don’t see great chances of rain for the next five days, except a chance for isolated storms in the afternoon by Tuesday. Have a great weekend!
