Showers in the Forecast

For today, the clouds will roll into the area. We continue to see the deep northeasterly flow. The northeast winds will allow for the possibility of coastal flooding during the time of high tide. There will be a chance of rain for the coastal areas this afternoon. The high will be in the mid 80’s. For tonight, we’ll have mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers. Wednesday there will be more clouds than sun with a good chance for showers. The afternoon high will be in the mid 80’s. Thursday will be mostly cloudy with a chance for showers. The high will be near 86.

Possible of tropical development (90 L):

There is a low pressure in south Florida this morning. The low will move west over the next few days. There is a chance that the low could become a tropical system late this week. The low will need to overcome strong upper level winds and a lot of dry air in the Gulf of Mexico.
