Chilly Air on the Way

We've already seen some cool air affect the area, now we will see the coldest air so far this fall season reaching us for the middle of the week.

On Tuesday, a dry cold front will pass through, but temperatures will still reach the mid 70s for highs with sunshine and some clouds. Colder air will move in Tuesday night under mostly clear skies, with lows dropping to near 40. Wednesday will be sunny and cool with highs struggling to get above 60. There is a good chance of the first frost of the season Wednesday night for areas away from the coast, mainly along and west of Interstate 95. Dry weather looks to be in store through the upcoming weekend, along with a gradual warmup.
