Changes on the Way

A storm system in the Southern Plains will move northeast tonight and Saturday. Temperatures will remain above average ahead of the system Saturday, then turn much cooler on Sunday.

Clouds will be on the increase Saturday with a chance of showers in the afternoon. Highs will be in the low 70s. The best chance for wet weather will be Saturday night, when some heavy rain will be possible. Some areas may hear thunder and experience gusty winds.

Skies will clear on Sunday and it will be windy and much cooler. Temperatures may reach near 60 before crashing late in the day. Most areas will wake up near freezing Monday morning.
