Another Very Hot Day

The end of the heat wave is in sight, but we will have two more very hot days before temperatures get closer to average by the weekend. The high pressure that brought us the very hot weather will begin moving west over the next two days. For today, an *Excessive Heat Warning* is in effect, with hazy skies and very hot temperatures. The afternoon high will be near 98 with the heat index near 115. For tonight, hazy skies, warm, and muggy with the low near 78. Friday will be our last very hot day with a mix of sun and clouds. The afternoon high will be near 98 and heat index near 115. Saturday and Sunday there will be a chance for thunderstorms in the afternoon with highs near 93. Always remember don’t forget about your pets with the very hot weather.

Tropics:

The tropical Atlantic is very quiet. I still don’t see tropical development through the weekend.
