Improving Weather This Weekend

The remnants of a frontal boundary and a disturbance have caused a soggy Friday across the area. While rain has been heavy at times, it has been spread out over a long enough period of time to not cause any serious problems. Expect some occasional rain overnight. There still could be a period of heavy rain in a few spots, but I do not expect there to be enough to cause significant flooding. Some sun will return during the day on Saturday and temperatures should at least reach near 90 degrees. There will still be a slight chance of a downpour, but overall it should be much drier. Breezes turning to the southwest and west over the weekend will not only help things dry out, but turn temperatures much hotter. We should see the mid 90s on Sunday and into the beginning of the new week. Some upper 90s could be possible as well. Have a good weekend!
