Storms Possible Today

A front is stalled out in the southeast. The front will allow for storms over the next few days. The best chance for thunderstorms will be in the afternoon. The storms may produce heavy rain and gusty winds. The afternoon highs for the workweek will be in the lower 90’s, and the morning lows will be near 73. By the end of the week we’ll have a mix of sun and clouds with less chances for storms. Have a good week!

Tropics:

The month of August will end quietly in the tropics. The computer models don’t show signs of tropical development for the next five days. I’m sure we will have tropical development by the first of September. The peak of hurricane season is September the 12th.
