Rain Likely for Friday

Moisture associated with the remnants of a front to our south is starting to come back north. A disturbance associated with this moisture will likely move northeast across the area during the day Friday. This will lead to numerous showers and isolated thunder. Rainfall could be locally heavy at times. Temperatures should remain below 90 due to more cloud cover and wet weather. Saturday should feature more sun; there could be some lingering moisture that could set off a downpour, but highs should reach the low 90s. It looks like temperatures will turn hotter for Sunday and the new week due to breezes developing out of the west. Readings in the mid 90s will be likely by Monday, with highs in the upper 90s possible.

Tropics: Low pressure in the Eastern Caribbean will track quickly west the next 2 or 3 days. There is a chance it could become classified before it moves over land in Central America.
