High Humidity, Scattered Downpours

A very humid air mass will remain in place as we go through Tuesday. Clouds will give way to some sun as we go through the day, then scattered downpours will develop in the afternoon. Highs will not be far from 90 across the area. Wednesday and Thursday should see a decrease in coverage of downpours as slightly less humid air filters in. Looking ahead to the weekend, a cold front is forecast by computer models to cross the area Friday night and Saturday. This should drop our highs down into the upper 80s over the weekend.

There is a total lunar eclipse that peaks at 6:37 Tuesday morning. The moon will begin to be eclipsed at 4:51am. Clouds are expected across much of the area, though, so viewing chances will be limited to none.
