Tropics:

Hurricane Dean: Dean is a strong category four hurricane. Dean passed just south of Jamaica on Sunday. Dean is quickly moving west and will move into the Yucatan Peninsula on Tuesday. Then Dean will make his second landfall in Mexico on Wednesday night. So, it looks like Dean will not have much of an impact on the United States.

Tropical Wave: There is a tropical wave north of Leeward Islands. The wave has the potential to develop over the next few days. The tropical wave will continue to move west through the next 3-4 days. Any tropical development will be slow.
