Another Warm and Humid Day

For today, we’ll have a mix of sun and clouds with isolated showers and storms in the afternoon. The high will be in the lower 90’s. For tonight, there will be lots of clouds with a slight chance for a shower. The low temperature will drop to near 74. A front will stall out north of the area, along with a weak surface low that will develop in the southeast. The low will allow for scattered showers and storms for Friday into the weekend. The afternoon highs will be lower due to more clouds in the afternoon. The highs for Friday through the weekend will be in the upper 80’s. For Labor Day, a mix of sun and clouds and the high will be near 88.

Tropics:

There is a low east of Florida drifting south. The low may develop into a tropical depression by the weekend. The low will begin moving northeast by the beginning of next week.

Also there is a tropical wave east of the Leeward Islands. The wave is moving west. The tropical wave does not show signs of development this morning. The computer models don’t show much development from the tropical wave.
